Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.Job Responsibilities:Project ManagerEmphasis on Instrumentation and Electrical capital projects (small to mid-size projects)Responsibilities May IncludeAssembling a full-time team to effectively execute the projectOverseeing the preparation and implementation of the Project Execution PlanLeading the FEL process, completing gate reviews, and obtaining management approvalsLeading the Contracting Strategy effort, managing the contractor evaluation, bid and award processManaging cost, schedule, procurement and the billing payables groupsInterviewing and approving personnel from the contractor's organizationUnderstanding contracts and managing contractors to maximize performance, controlling costs and minimizing claims and change ordersSetting up project facilities at site and in the contractors officeSetting safety expectations for the project and leading the team to achieve safety goalsEnsuring plant Operations and Maintenance personal are engaged and that they understand their responsibilitiesEnsuring that proper schedules are issued, reviewed, and used to drive Project performanceEnsuring the accuracy of the cost estimate as well as monthly cash flow forecastsSetting up programs to manage vendors, fabricators and any required specialty contractorsEnsuring that quality processes are followedDeveloping, gaining approval for and managing to project KPI's and metricsLeading development of a risk management planPreparing and giving presentations to various levels of the Company and other stakeholdersTimely and efficiently closing out of the projectPosition RequirementsBasic/Required:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering10 or more years of project management experience working in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry5 or more years of experience working as a Project Manager with sole accountability for the projectPreferred:10 or more years of project management experience working in Refining and/or petrochemical10 or more years of experience working as a Project Manager with sole accountability for the projectWorking knowledge of industry recommended practices, design methods and QA/QC requirementsWorking knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, industry standards and DOT requirementsExperience managing engineering and construction contractors and multiple project teamsLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
